The Coastal Zone of Finolex Industries Limited is bordered by hill slopes towards the West side covered in typical moist deciduous forests. The Hill top area features a mosaic of lateritic plateaus, locally known as “Sada”, dense vegetation patches and a few seasonal streams. The landscape within the factory premises contains dense vegetation patches, open areas, lateritic plateaus with a few water bodies, and seasonal streams. Each of these areas showcases its unique landscape types.
